The Cowes Yacht Club is located toward the eastern end of 1.2 km long Yacht Club Beach. The beach is relatively narrow and steep, with low bluffs and reef flats bordering it at Richardson Point and Mussel Rocks, and a low dune behind. There is a car park at the yacht club and a caravan park behind the beach. Waves are usually low wind waves.

Swimming

A relatively safe beach with low waves. Better at high tide as reef flats and sand shoals are exposed at low tide.

None.

Fishing

Better at high tide or off the reef flats at low tide.

General

A popular beach for sailers, boaters and holiday makers from Cowes and the caravan park.
